Winter
Normally it snows in Britain but not everywhere. But this is how it normally looks like.
The season is generally wet, windy and cool. Snow mainly effects eastern and northern areas, high ground in Wales and especially the mountains of Scotland. The average (winter) temperature is 3.7°C/ 38.6°F.
The record for the lowest temperature in the UK was - 27.2 °C /−17.0 °F, in Braemar, Scotland, on 11 February 1895 and 10 January 1982.
